Did you manage to figure out the password? There are some password hints in the last 3 T servers (not counting x)

Unfortunately I can't seem to figure it out even with the hints. I'm probably overthinking or underthinking it. at this point I should just start brute forcing every time related word in the dictionary with all the various cases, because I guess the clue I thought told me it was two words long and each word was in a different case wasn't actually hinting at that.

The password in the game files doesn't work.


And yes, I'm a complete cheater.

I just checked the game files now that you mention it doesn't work, and it was literally the first thing I tried.

I think the T-X node is really impossible to break into, and the secret is stored elsewhere. Or maybe it's a bug, but I don't think so.

Yep I'm stuck here, too.

I found all of the password hints no problem, and then tried every password I could think of that was even remotely related to the hints. No dice.

My current working theory is that the timing of the nodes in T crashing and rebooting might somehow make it possible to break into T-X, but I have nothing beyond that. I have tried forkbombing nodes in T to try to mess with the timing, but that didn't seem to have any effect.

If you guys happen to figure it out, I'd appreciate a (gentle) nudge in the right direction =)

I think the node I found in the game files was not loaded, because there's nothing in it, but maybe we're supposed to be stuck here.

And the timing won't mess because it's scripted

Reminder that all admin passes are case sensitive.

I tried the case sensitive version uppercase on first letter only and even other case versions, but it still didn't work.

Weird. It works for me.

I haven't cheated and looked at the game files, but I'm pretty sure I've covered all of the passwords you could reasonably deduce from the hints, in a variety of uppercase/lowercase/titlecase and with/without spaces.

Plus after a few minutes of chucking passwords at T-X, the game always crashes, so I think I'm just going to move on and play something else. It's a shame because this extension is crazy good, and I had a wonderful time with it right up to this point.

I have dug through the files after trying to do it legit for a couple of hours and i know the password, however this does not seem to work for the node even with all forms of case(turns out i got the password right before and it wasnt working

UPDATE: ive also read up on the documentation a little and manually changed PortsToCrack to 0, it has has no effect, T-X is still inviolable, made no sense to me until i realized that nodes are probabbly generated at the start of a new session/account creation

You have to add an argument to the game to update nodes

Nodes get stored on your local save file, any updates that get pushed get ignored by the game if you use the old save.
