How do I speed up analyzing a firewall or slowing down my opponent? I'm against Curs3 and by the time I finish analyzing his firewall I have no time left.
Xeon 11 Jun, 2017 @ 10:51am
Simple analyze the firewall then remember/note it somewhere and go to main menu and go back in then just connect and solve

That really feels like a terrible way to do it, but alright.

I've got a better idea. Go ahead and fire up your tools (SSHCrack e.t.c) first. Those all work, do that whilst you're analyzing, then solve and PortHack xD

Oh I forgot you can do that. Proxies prevent you from using exe's but not firewalls.

Alright stuck again. I'm doing the first team mission and I'm stuck on the last part. Based on the hint that was given the last decypher password should be: midn1gh7w1r3dsund14lov3rfl0w but it doesn't work. Am I missing something?
GreenHaze 11 Jun, 2017 @ 12:08pm
Simply this, each password should be separated by an underscore.
Laylay  [developer] 11 Jun, 2017 @ 12:11pm
Thank you for the reply @The Great GreenHaze. Yeah, I apoligise I need to rewrite the hints in that mission to make it easier to understand and explain it a bit better. Will do that in the next day or two!

Thank you! Finally got it. I also saw Xeon's post about and figured out what else I was doing wrong.

I lost the first CTF and now I have to redo every mission. Is this a bug or some hellish intentional feature?
jmanrocks152 12 Jun, 2017 @ 11:54pm
I was unable to find the last server, the one that can't be found through scanning the starting point
I'd thought that I'd read all of the hints, and understood all of them clearly
I got the server order, and the order of correct passwords, but beyond that, I don't know what I'm missing that tells me the last server's whereabouts
I'm probably missing something, but what exactly is it?

did you tried douing SCAN on the last node in order?
btw @Mr.Robot sorry but idk either guess admiral gotta awnser that one.
GreenHaze 13 Jun, 2017 @ 4:16am
It was actually pretty simple for me. Try using SCAN on other servers, not just the starting point.

Yeah, the last server is connected to server #097which you should be able to find by scanning that server ;)
I am stuck on the mission, "The Real Hack" where you edit Alexander.txt in the Hacker Wars server. I edit everything as it says, but I dont get an email back from unknown. Ive tried this with many different saves, but each I cannot progress past. Please help!
Laylay  [developer] 13 Jun, 2017 @ 11:09pm
Okay, well make sure not to rename the files first, keep it as "Alexander.txt" Then replace "Alexander" with your playername (the same username you used when you created your save file. Then make sure to change the IP Address to your IP Which is always the same one, hover the mouse over your computer node in the netmap to fond this out. Once done, the missiom should autocomplete. It's probably worth mentioning that you should probably keep the Squarr Brackets in but it shouldn't matter that much.
