Unable to function properly - Civ6 Epic Games
I have this game in Epic Games and somehow managed to install this mod.

After enabled the mod, it doesn't seem to work and even makes some default mechanics becoming obsolete e.g. View population work tiles not functioning, building districts/ wonders no longer highlight eligible tiles, etc..

Noticed the mod is labelled as 'this mod has not marked itself as compatible with the current game version', could this be the reason why?

Anyone is facing similar issue and happen to have a workaround?

Sorry, can you maybe tell me where you found the mod? I also really would love to use the mod, but I own the game on epic games too and therefore can't download it through steam.

Ok guys I had the same issue but I finally found a solution. My theory is that the version of the mod that Steam Workshop Downloader downloads is old. So I downloaded the mod directly from Steam and then just copied that version and it worked.
Here is the updated version.

@Eel > confirmed. I was suspecting the same thing. Tested all of the panels and the mouseovers and they work as expected. The ingame mod menu also no longer complains about outdated versions for this one. There's still a couple of others I downloaded in the same way that do, probably the same issue there.
Well, there's a huge Steam Summer Sale for Civ 6 at the moment. Even cheaper at online vendors.

@Eel yooo confirmed it's working now thank you! how do you download directly from steam if I don't own the game on steam?

Thanks a bunch! By the way, for others using Epic games, there is no mods folder, there's a different folder, I think it's labelled additional content

no, it's called DLC in the folder, in game it is called additional content>mods

I installed it in CivVI Epic Games, but the last version is reported not compatible, and the June one seems compatible. But in both cases, even if I ignore the warning, the mod seems to break the UI: the view with citizens doesn't work anymore, none of the buttons with heads appear around the city when clicking on the city button to open this interface.

1.Do not work with epic - cannot launch trade mission, "Begin Mission" is greene but does not respond
2. Cannot see actual values of enemies on main screen, its only my character with "-" in place of number
3. Worked tiles - do not show on main screen

I'm still having this issue even after downloading and installing the "new link" offered here. Anyone find a solution?

I came back to Civ 6 after a long time and had the same issue. Frustrated by my own answer, I tried another way.
For some reason this website (https://steamworkshopdownloader.io/) downloads the latest mods from steam. So I used the website to download the mod and it works.
