How to edit Relic made maps

How to edit Relic-made maps (and the original community maps shipped with Opposing fronts): The definitive Guide.

1. Download and run Corsix Mod Studio (http://modstudio.corsix.org/downloads-5.html)

2. Click New Mod and select "Company of Heroes / Opposing Fronts" from dropdown list. Name it whatever you like. For Game folder, select the company of heroes folder in your steam directory. ([steam directory]\steamapps\common\Company of Heores\)

I suggest you NOT use the New Steam Version folder, since you need to use the "non-steam" version to make maps anyway.

3. In the left hand pannel under "Files" open desired map folder under data>scenarios>mp>classic

4. Right click on the .info file and select "Extract this file". Do the same for the .sbg file. The other files are for things like the lobby image, weather options etc. and are optional.

Files will be extracted to (if you followed step 2) : [steam directory]\steamapps\common\Company of Heores\[name you gave the mod in step 2]\Data\scenarios\mp\classic\[map name]

5. Copy and paste the files from above folder to : Documents\my games\Company of Heroes\ww2\Data\Scenarios\MP

6. Delete the [mod name].module file from [steam directory]\steamapps\common\Company of Heores\

7. You can now open the .sgb in World Builder and edit the map!

If you have an error which says "[directory] is outside of all known mods", you may try making sure you have both the .info and .sgb files in the correct folder (folder in step 5).
If you are sure you have both the required files, make sure you deleted the correct file from step 6.

Any questions please ask.
