Crashes in Zeus on a couple of maps since last update?
Posting this to see if anybody else has run into this issue. Myself, and several others within the group I play with, have noticed an issue since the last update where a couple of the maps have become somewhat "unstable", crashing during regular gameplay.

The main way in which this manifests is when using Zeus; simply navigating around the map with the Zeus camera at any kind of speed, or using the middle-mouse-click on the mapscreen itself to quickly jump to a location, or even using the "respond to Zeus ping" shortcut to jump to a player, risks crashing the game instantly to desktop (typically with a "Status Access Violation" error, thrillingly vague as with most error codes, but sometimes with an Application Hang). Tonight, it even happened when exiting Zeus to mark something on the map for the players.

The maps I was able to provoke this crash on are;
-Da Krong (immediate, reliable crash when I move Zeus cam above base speed)
-Doung Island (been able to reliably crash before but in testing before posting this it was a hang I had to end manually.)

I hope we're not the only ones to have run into this issue, and that a fix may be on the way. I am confident that it did not occur prior to the most recent UNSUNG update. Thanks in advance for any responses

have you played using JEMalloc? From our description:


If you have memory crashes using Unsung, especially on the APEX-related maps (Doung, Da Krong etc), please turn down your view distance, and play in 64 bit and test the 3 available memory allocators in the A3 Launcher. Most of us find JEMalloc to be the most stable.
Plei Trap Valley crashes - we are aware of this.

What also came to my mind: Did you validate/re-download the mod on the server/client? Maybe it's some corrupted file playing havoc.

I just zoomed around in Zeus over Da Krong and I did not experience any crashes.

I had tried to solve this with the memory allocators whent he issue first occurred, and it didn't appear to help, however testing just now after you mentioned it, it definitely seems to have had an impact. Zooming about both those maps now, no crashes in sight. Thank you so much, it was driving us to frustration last night.
