To add such into the game in a way where only one char has the cats and had to pass/drop it to another member for that member to be able to haggle with it the squad would have to have another variable stat added for wallet/purse which would add any number of bugs.
This would make many of the interactions much more tedious.... but more like dnd.... cept GM's tend to prefer using "party" gold as its easier to keep track of....
