Could it be possible for a ressurection of communism in Burkina Faso, maybe through a focus tree? Aparrently a considerable amount of people in the country still support Sankara's rule, even though he's now long dead.
Maybe an idea for most African countries, "Food Crisis", where it's a negative impact on both political power and recruitable population. I'm not sure how players could get rid of this idea, but it would be good to have that for a challenge.
Coup logic is already in the game. The world is usually plunged in to world war 3 by 2016 in Millennium Dawn; I'm mostly keeping the game events related to historical events around 2000 before the game diverges from history. Events post-2010 are extremely low priority, especially ones already covered for by game mechanics. I guess for a 2016 start it is a possibility, but I'm not looking to work on that for the foreseeable future (Africa's a big place).
This is possible with the current tree.
That'll probably come as part of the East African bloc update later, with appropriate focuses for addressing it (or not). It's not an issue shared by most African nations.
Don't believe this is possible within a mod. I'll probably overhaul it to take advantage of production licenses when Death or Dishonor comes out and have the current system as a fallback for people without the expansion.
The mod already models Islamic civil wars in general via the Path of Security focuses. Azawad is a possibility, but quite far off in the grand scheme of things.
Please add Burkina Faso's capital.
