Report a translation problem
For the normal hl2rp thing, get a bunch of rooms and stuff and maybe a little bit of underground.
For goofy player generated hl2, do something like gm_bigcity but Half-Life themed, maybe get a whole bunch of areas in a map that barely fits in the source engine's bounds, and a very interactive map.
I know nothing about modding and my advice is awful.
