Hey, tried to use the mod today but its saying the descriptor file is missing. Ive cleared out the steamapp mod folder and also the EU4 folder and redownloaded the file but it still saying its missing the file

So, I'm not certain what is causing this as the descriptor file is in the mod, I'll try updating it, let me know if that works.

It worked earlier today for me, but then I had the same problem. I modified the descriptor.mod file, changing version=2 to version="2" with quotation marks (the version field in the launcher-v2.sqlite is varchar(255)) and changed supported_version="1.30.*" to supported_version="1.30.*.*". Also I renamed Uber.png to uber.png since I'm on linux. Afterwards I deleted launcher-v2.sqlite (careful if you have playsets set up). One of these changes fixed it, it works again. Very strange that it even stopped working at all.

So Paradox changed something. I'm not certain exactly what yet, but I'm looking into fixing it. It has to do with the .mod file not associating with the proper path on my PC

When I formed Prussia out of a custom nation it changed almost all of my national idea set

Are you using any other mods? I cannot recreate your issue using only this mod as it changes none of the reform decisions. I also created Prussia and had no issue with ideas. They all remained the same. By default, custom nations are ignored for changing ideas. Only sometimes do missions change.

If you generate a random new world and put a custom nation there with the mod enabled you will only have discovered the bordering provinces and everything else is covered with terra incognita

Doesn't matter what configuration of tech groups etc you use

I'll have a look at that, the mod doesn't change anything with the tech groups but something may be funky in the defines file

Not sure if its a me problem or if some update broke it but the mod doesn't seem to be doing anything at all (same with every other custom nation designer mod). When I go to make a nation all the regular limits apply and nothing's changed
