Does not match any infestation design, not even in the slightest.
This is nidus were talking about, the fleshy inside and the outward chitin/shell like futuristic structure does not look like any infested design at all. And if anything if this is just to make a change or a strive in a different direction of looks for alt helms, You might as well redo the helm or make a new one, because I'm not buying this.

When there's a Nidus helm matching his theme: "It looks too similar to default!"
When there's one that actually looks different to default: "It doesn't match his theme!"
Jeez, stop complaining. It's perfectly fine.

I'm pretty sure it can't be too hard to make an alt helm for Nidus similar to His style but far from His default. This on the other hand is just so off. Just look at the other Nidus alt helms.

When I checked the discussion of that one, it said what I posted before.

That was one out of the 5 other discussions that said that. The rest said it just needed improvement. What I'm saying is that this alt helm is way off course of the Nidus helmets We have now [Default and the other DE made helmet]. And this just doesn't look infested.

it may not look "infested" but Nidus CONTROLS the infested.. whos to say a commander of the Plague needs to look like a plague himself? I for one enjoy this more 'demonic insect' looking alt. helm~ this has my vote and my money

Counterpoint on theming: Deluxe Chroma (Knight armor is not a pelt) Infested Nezha (I mean look at the thing) Deluxe Frost (Looks more like an oberon skin) Deluxe Trinity (VAGUELY maybe if you squint it's kuva grineer?) Nova Asuri (It's just a -mess-)

And a few of those aren't even Tennogen, Those of which that are still got accepted. Your case unrested and promptly discarded.

I agree with you that it doesn't match the Infestation theme. It looks like the creator just wanted to do an armor with animation and chose Nidus that has animation in his body. And for me looks ugly af

Dude this helmet is awsome and stop complaining cuz YOU DONT HAVE TO BUY IT so just roll with it an accept it nothing is always gonna be how you like it
