I think it's because it's hard to determine the entity count and size for a triangle. With a square you can provide and X and Y, but there's no exact value for a polygon volume.
Perhaps the player could provide an entity count and the tool will just fill the volume? I haven't updated this addon in a long time, but if I ever get back into Garry's Mod I will look into adding this for sure.
It would make NPC bowling a lot easier to set up...

well i dont know.
But if you manage to make a perfect triangle shape,you will be able to do the hexagon,star shape,pentagon and even a cross shape!
