Bugs & Problems
You found a bug related to this mod? Plz make sure it is a bug with this mod. Deactivate all other mods an see if you still have the problem. If so, plz provide a clear description in which situation, when and how the bug occurs so i can reproduce it. If i cant find it i cant fix it. If i cant understand it, i cant fix it ;)

Does this mod affect fleet combat strength rating? None of the other mods i have installed should, so I'm guessing its this. In my game, Prethoryn scourge fleets have absurd ratings (in the many millions), even though they're actually like 100k. This doesn't affect their actual strength, it seems, but the AI empires won't fight these fleets and flee from engagements, even when outgunning them significantly.
As a result, i get a 400k+ awakened empire fleet going against the prethoryn, then fleeing on running into the first measly prethoryn fleet.

Interessting result, havent tested that yet. But it sounds very possible. After all the economics have been changed the models for scourge have not yet been changed they are vanilla...with vanilla pricing in mind when they were built by paradox. Ill put it on my todo list.

Also, i am getting crazy amounts of the critters. Within a few years they had 30 infested worlds (cutting straight through some decadent empires) and a ~100k fleet (im guessing here) in almost every system that side of the galaxy.

So, after installing this and testing it a few things I've noticed
-Pirate stations are completely borked by it, like not even using the texture for them but a random 'gineric' object that needs textures and all that
-Corvettes cannot be upgraded (so if you want to change them to better weapons, you cannot)

@Mizque My friends and I were having the same problem with pirate stations and ships being generic objects last night. Only mod were playing with is this one.

Ill try to find the reason for it, however in my new version many things are completely differently done. So the bug might not even be there anymore

I posted that on the same day the bug occured (yesterday) which I'm playing the upto date version of stellaris, with all the dlc even, the other gent also had the same problem withing the past day or two, meaning the mod is doing this to people now for some reason

yeah i heard ya :) ill have a look into it, but i really do think the new version will fix it. But before releasing it ill make sure to test if the first pirate encounter and station are ok

Not sure if anyone has mentioned, but this does not seem compatible with NSC 5.0

I've experienced the same issue with the Prethoryns I think, fleets arrived in the Millions rating wise, don't know if they are actually that strong as they easily crushed my fleet regardless. Dunno if it's related to this mod though as it's the first time i've fought them.

Awesome, thanks, yeah, I flicked back to my save with and without the mod running, looks like it turns ~120k Scourge fleets into ~1.5M rating

i always advice starting fresh with the mod, it had some funny effects on my saves, which it didnt have on my new games.

The insane Prethoryn fleet strength might stem from a typo in the bonus shield damage for scourge missles. Damage multiplier is set at 1100 while most other multipliers are at something like 1.33...so insta-death for any shields.
