fumbe footsteps dont work fix
i figured out why the footsteps dont work.
so if you have CSS mounted there is a footstep folder that uses css footsteps that will prevent ANY footstep sounds to work
you will need to go to your garrysmod file
garrysmod>addons>css content>sound>player>. delete the footstep file.
after that restart game and you will get the fumble noises and also the other footstep addons you install! enjoy!:gmod:

Also. If you have HL2 textures do the same thing. It wont break anything since the sound is already in gmod.

There's no CSS folder under Steam>steamapps>common>GarrysMod>garrysmod>addons?
am i looking in the wrong folder?

if theres no css folder then i dont know anything else to look at. try redownloading the addon or delete other footstep files

i've tried that in the past, it didnt work. ill try verifying my GMod & CSS files, and remounting it to garrysmod

try this when your in game: go the main menu, click the "games" button below, look for "Counter strike: source" game and disable it. thats the only way you can have your footstep files but you will not have css textures. if you dont have "Counter strike source" in games tab then i dont really know. if theres another enabled footstep file in addons tab then disable them.

i think theyre talking about pirated css content, because there isnt any "css content" file, ive checked.
