Try unsubscribbing, deleting it from you HoI mod folder, then re-subscribbing.

It could be because this mod's title has a dash " - " infront which means you will find it at the top of the load order, not next to all the other mods that would start with a H as HOIV sorts its mod order alphebetically

Correct, the - is there to ensure the mod is at the top of the load order

When I click on the research thing it just flickers and then goes back to the map.

Which nation?
What other mods do you have enabled?

The cruiser mkIII a13 has 600 production cost

65 were built for the total war. It was a stop-gap for the 1939 medium tank. It's to help you gain efficiency on the tech, not meant for mass production :)

oh, okay thanks

Hi! Now I don't know exactly how much compatibility you were going for with the equipment conversion feature, but it seems that I cannot convert specific models to newer techs.
For example, I cannot convert the Pz. 3 Ausf. M to the Ausf. N.

This also exists with a few of the Pz. 4 models. I'm not sure if this is intentional (big differences in specs IRL) or if it is just a slight issue.

PS - The Pz. 4 Ausf. F2/G didn't have side skirts, but it's image does. xD

Yes, it's intentional. Pz. 3 M to N doesn' t have it because of the switch from the 50mm long to 75mm short. Same with the Pz. 4 model F1 to F2/G. Changes from short 75mm to long 75mm. It's intentional :)

I must have read the description wrong from tanks-encyclopedia. I'll change it with the USA and France AI update.

France happens to crash as you zoom in on the tanks divisions, on first load up, game on pause, before you do anything. Was Ran on clean villain files, and only this mod on. If you un-pause and let the time go a bit it fixes the problem, so it may of past a lot of people by, I only found it because I was doing some modding. Other majors are fine and do not have any such problem. In itself, not a big problem, but just a heads up if you get anyone spotting this in the future, you know its there.
Could be because I haven't updated the history for France. I'll be updating it shortly. I'll check it out then.

So it's when you zoom in when you're paused? Is it a specific spot?

I zoomed in on mainland France across all of the provinces and I had no issues.

Thanks for the quick response!

Since you are going for conversion only between similar calibers, I think I should mention that the Pz. 3 Ausf. E-H should not be convertible with the J-M, as the E-H variants had a 37mm gun.

Also, is it intentional that the Pz. 4 Ausf. J has better stats than the Ausf. H? The Germans actually simplified the Pz. 4 from the H to the J (to be quicker and easier to produce), yet this hurt the tanks performance overall.

I'd also like to thank you for such a great mod! I've always hated how a Tiger 2 was equal to an IS 2...

I can't remember if the Pz. 3 E-H less improvements overall than just the gun. I did the research at the time but I forgot. I'll look into it again. If the only change was the gun, where they basically just swapped guns, I think its acceptable to leave it as convertable.

Wasn't sure if I had fixed that yet, but the Pz. 4 J is supposed to have worse stats with a lower production cost. That was a mistake on my part. It's on the to do list.

Agreed! Couldn't stand it, partly why this was done. Enjoy updated AI!
