My next map!
Any suggestions, Ideas or feedback that might be useful for my next map.

A map simular to ireland would be cool, with more stuff on castles and small port towns that huge cities and giant military bases

I think the amount of cool little secret areas and easter eggs was nice on this map, and to carry that over to the next one would be amazing. The high amount of deadzones is cool too (especially the deadzones containing large facilities like Doomsday Valley and the nuclear power plant).

As for the location, I think it would be interesting to have a map in China centered around the Great Wall. There would certainly be some lore to play with there. E.g. did the breakout occur within the Great Wall in one of the major Chinese cities or did it occur outside of the wall and zombies got in somehow? I can also imagine that there would be a bunch of small camps set up along the Great Wall as people try to get over to the other side, whether that be trying to get into the safety of the wall or get out of the danger that the wall keeps in.

Edit: Another idea, playing off of 88botong's "huge city" idea would be to center it around New York City and specifically Manhattan Island. I can imagine that the bridges to the island, maybe all but one, would be destroyed.

Awesome ideas, but quite hard to make in unturned at the moment, and because I don't know hot make my own objects. Might do something similar though.

Me and Th3o decided that the map should be set in Ontario, Canada, the map is gonna be quite the large size (Insane) We would really like people to suggest ideas

Hopefully you can pull that off. As far as I can see, all the current inasne maps are either really sparse or unfinished. If you can make an insane sized map with the same landmark density as Deepwood then that would be the best.

Probably not as dense, as we would like more nature this time, but ofcourse not sparse.

Awesome. :)

I can't think of anything to suggest other than just do things similar to how you did Deepwood. i.e. a healthy number of deadzones, easter eggs, underground areas, areas that require generators to enter, etc.

try Georgia (little country in Eurasia).. we got here mountaints, cities, rivers, sea, farms and everything... u can add underground under Tbilisi and different airports and so on..

I have actually had an idea for a map since long before Russia came out. A map called Fallen Utopia. I had a version of this map on the workshop, but I lost all the data for it when my old laptop died. So rather than trying to salvage that trainwreck, I want to improve it. It would be a large sized map, one MAJOR city, several towns, a fully integrated traffic, rail, and airport system.There would be several islands around the map. The military airport and one of the civilian airports would be on islands, and there would be one more island that would have a small town on it. I had most of the layout for this map idea completed before I lost the data on the map. This map wouldnt be underdetailed, but it wouldnt be basic either. It would pretty much look like the zombie apocalypse just recently became too overwhelming for the forces to handle, so there wouldnt be any overgrowth, except for some locations that aren't marked on the map.

I just checked the map out, and I see where you think that. However, my map idea would include just about everything nelson has put into the game so far. I am able to work the normal editor fairly well, but I cant work the devkit properly. I can use the road tool very well, I can make pretty decent city layouts, I can work with the landscape height tool well, and I can use the landscape materials tool to a certain extent. In the devkit, I can add holes and water volumes, and that's it. I am going to make the landscape for the map, if you would like to see the concept that I have in mind.

Alright. Maybe one day you will be able to help me. I plan on getting the roadmap completed mainly. I just need help with the spawn tables, and painting the land with special materials (the map exclusive grasses and stuff like that). I would like some advice about something now if you are able to. My vision for the map is to have it include most of everything that Nelson has added into the game thus far. However, I want to have a snow area, and I am struggling with finding the best level for snow to fall at, and with getting the snow to fall at that level. If you can, do you think you could give me your best advice for something like this?

One last thing. I'm excited to see what new maps you are coming out with.
