Be sure to include the list of mods you are using and always try disabling all mods and only enabling the ACoIaF mods first to eliminate compatability issues. If you can let me know which mods cause conflict I can do what I need to fix it!
Thanks,
1. What map/religion/civ were you using/founding/playing as when the bug occured? If it was the ACoIaF Westeros please specify regular Westeros or the GoT Scenario map as well
2. Can you give me an exact list of the mods you had enabled? I looked on the workshop for expanded pantheons, but didn't see anything by that exact name so I want to make sure I'm looking at the right mods.
I am not 100% sure it's a mod conflict, but I have done some testing on the mod without anything else enabled to try and replicate these issues. I played through a game on Westeros as Stannis until I let someone beat me to founding the first religion with Stonehenge and then founded one myself without issues, it was Eddard founding The Old Gods and I founded Rh'llor, I also did some testing and set up a map that had two leaders set to try and found each of the new religions and I gave everyone the faith to do it on the first turn to force the game to found ALL the religions to force a crash and there were no problems, 7 pantheons were selected, 7 religions were founded, my 4 and 3 random ones who were got the other 3 great prophets for the map type.
Not sure if this is the appropriate venue for this report as it has to do with the maps mod rather than the civs mod, but as that is dependant on this i thought i might as well post this here with some information on the issue we are seeing:
When playing on line you are able to enable both mods, however once you create the lobby the maps mod seems to disable itself (it is not showing in the add on list as the civ's mod is). The map reverts to pangea and you are unable to select either the westeros map or the scenario map, as it looks like the mod is disabled.
Three of us have been able to reproduce this by simply trying to set up a multiplayer game, and i have seen another individual complain of it.
Thanks for all your hard work on these great mods.
2. I played Tyrel and for some reason Daenerys was spawned just N-W of my location. That was exactly where, in a previous game, Cercei was spawned. Funny thing was that Cercei was spawned just a one-city distance from Daenerys. I'm thinking Daenerys is meant to spawn randomly in Westeros, but still, near Casterly Rock? :D I think this is a bug or poor implementation;
3. The North has a bit too many resources and there's wheat and citrus on snow, which is kinda silly;
4. The game doesn't seem to start when trying to play with more then 10 factions. Tried this many times and it occurred each time.
2: Yeah, Dany is supposed to pick a random spawn point since Mereen doesn't exist on Westeros. She, or any other leader who is based primarily in Essos will choose a random spawn point. I'll need to review some of those locations now that Cersei is there.
3: The north is a bit wonky right now. I started with Laiyx's map and added a bunch of tundra and snow to make it play into the Stark traits. There is a bit more desert in my Dorne as well to play into the Martell traits. There's a ton I want to do with the maps, but it's not my priority at the moment
I wasnt aware mods are able to do that..
Scenarios do NOT play well with other mods and you will probably need to disable them if you want it to work, especially a scenario that changes core mechanics like the tech trees and which leaders are available.
