WEAPON BASE.
For everyone interested in creating custom weapons, please go to this URL:

Press 'Clone or Download' and choose 'Download ZIP'.

Once downloaded, extract to the desktop and navagate to this directory once you open the extracted folder.

entities -> weapons

Inside you will see all the weapon files as well as the bases. This means that it contains all the weapons that are either in use, or were cut from the game. The rifle based weapons. (Not snipers but actual rifles like the AK47, galil, etc. The rifle weapons are currently untested, and were cut before release back in 2012.)

The base files you are interested in are the dec_ bases. The ctsm bases are not used in this gamemode.

If you have ever made a weapon for Customizable Weapondry 1.0 then this should be a walk down memory lane as the dec_ base is based off of the original Customizable Weaponry 1.0 base. (This is due to the original gamemobe was made by the same person who made cstm 1.0.). In the words of the original 2012 release "The base is the ctsm base, but without the customization."

If you are crafty with weapon bases, and have experience in Customizable Weapondry 2.0 and would like to forward development please contact me. Porting all the weapon bases and weapons to 2.0 could help modernise the gamemode, as well as adding the ability for modders to port cw2.0 weapons to the gamemode.
