Parcel Maps EC (Vanilla Version)

Let me hear your map ideas and ill create them...
A specific building or map parcel you have in mind? Tell me since from now on part of my mod will be creating map parcels of your suggestions.
Be aware map parcels can be small 16x16 , medium 16x32 or large 32x32 tiles..Let me know if what size as well if its gonna be in city center,smalltown,shanty, or wilderness...

The first suggestion i created into a map was the large abandoned cemetery from "Fireborn" request..
Cant wait to hear/create amazing map parcels from you guys request...

For all the rebel cells like to have hidey-holes, they don't have any bunkers. It's hard to believe they would never use a semi-truck loaded with cinderblocks or the like to make more fortified emplacements, even if it's only used for a few weeks.
As an idea: two variants of a large or medium shanty or wilderness parcel that has a small building (with fragile cover surrounding it so Advent or XCom has a chance to get close to it) with one or two block long stairs that lead up into a 3x3 or 5x5 emplacement, with low cover on all of its inside sides and full cover all around the outside. Alternatively, a descending option that goes "Into the ground" with a roof that hampers grenades from being thrown in the middle of the bunker, hitting everyone inside, or abilities like the Archon's barrage attack because it's technically, "inside" a building.
The ascending option would require the walls to not take up a full space, but still have a hardness enough to survive one direct rocket strike. Perk-enhanced grenades would be able to destroy it, but I'm not familiar enough with Hardness levels to give a quantitative result as to what that golden number is.
I hope this was detailed enough of an idea, it's just something not in game that I'm pretty clueless as to why it isn't. There's lookout towers EVERYWHERE, but not reinforced bunkers, AFAIK.

@Zam138 Bunkers.. I definetly like you idea will be a bit complicated to do a underground one but it's possible, any pictures to help me recreate of what your telling me.

For the wilderness: Perhaps cabins, trailers, camp sites, derelict lumber yards. The invading force doesn't have much reason to focus on the outskirts here because the campaign exists mostly for the research they are doing on humans, and high population density areas are better for this. That said most wilderness structures would've been ignored by the conflict and could remain intact if not occupied by civilians. Also anything to help cultivate the general feeling of looming danger in those missions would be thematic.

The idea was something like a pillbox, I now realise. It probably would have been better to say that from the beginning, though, for a better reference.

The Woodlands lookout tower/sniper tower is most similar to what I had in mind, but instead of using a ladder and having a space underneath, it's just the 3x3 or 2x3.

an overgrown remake of the old military base map from XCOM EU/EW would be nice, the Tank yard. could even have that a bunch are missing, or blow out, or just abandoned, and then maybe have the couple of helicopters from it in diff positions, like they got shot down and crashed right after takeoff.

Xcom 2 modding tools don't have old tanks ect just a interceptor and big sky.. what I can do is a abandoned airfield base with bunch of interceptors, cranes here and there... Maybie the expansion has it... but I'll definetly do it, will have same layout, but different appearance... But not to worry I been working on bringing the old buildings from EU into xcom 2 (lost map)

a bombed out interceptor base would actually be a pretty cool wilderness parcel. maybe figure out a way to have some damaged overgrown interceptors as well. as for WotC, i wouldn't be surprised if there is at least SOME old military hardware kicking around, either in the lost cities, or the Xenoformed wilderness maps.

really like the new maps. The EW maps are great!. I wish you can make some wilderness maps with destroyed or damaged ufos too and i would really like to see some of the mission maps from EW. Like the one with the graveyard and the tomb in the middle of the map, or the research station where you had to extract the scientist. Keep it on and with the new expansion you can adapt the old EW maps even better in abboned city maps :D Thank you for your great mod.
