This mod caused a weird issue where my research output dropped siginificantly over the span of two years in all categories while building the Tier V buildings on my other planets. Anyway, I think your mod was the cause. Is there anything in this mod that might have affected my game like this?

Well let's see. We have 4 new techs wich unlock new buildings and give you extra mineral / energy storage, so that leaves The "Self-Aware Data collection" as only suspect. It gives 20% more research speed and unlocks The planetary database. The only thing that could have caused this decrease is sector goals. Does The problem fix itself after going to a balanced or science-based sector goal/setting? If this still doesn't fix your problem, make sure to enable The "Respect tile resources" option.

@MikeWe The conflicting mod could be "Planetary Shields" a standalone version of a feature from MEM. That mod changes the stats for the Planetary Shield Generator, and you said that this mod is incompatible with mods that change vanilla building stats. But it's weird that the effect would be less research.

@noel.guscott I looked through the config of the buildings that I edited to make sure that I did not change any research factors. The only thing I found was the 20% research speed bonus when researching "Self-Aware Data Collection". But it has nothing to do with gaining research "points".

Despite having researched the tech for it, the Planetary Database building itself isn't on the building list, even in my capital... Do I need anything other than the "Self-Aware Data Collection" tech?

Hey, I can't seem to find the upgraded buildings anywhere on my building or upgrade list. I've got the tech but the buildings and upgrades just don't show up?

nvm i found it, its the Megastructure mod

for some reason after the most recent update all of my planetary databases vanished and everytime i rebuild them back up to that level it acts like it is building it, but once it is done it vanishes making it to where i have to rebuild the lab all over again.
