Units dont have their typical sign over them. it is hard to differentiate enemy units from my own

What other mods are you playing with in addition to this one?

If you use EUI with this mod then units don't have icons above their heads anymore, but removing the mod fixed it. I have no idea what would cause this, but if it's possible I would love to be able to use EUI with this mod.

I'm not sure, but it's probably due to the adding the "3 units per tile" feature in the latest version of this mod - which replaces the "UnitPanel.Lua" UI. I'm not sure, but it seems almost certain the EUI does the same UI replacement, which would cause problems like you're describing.

I'm not 100% sure this would work, but... You could open up this mod's definition file and disable this mod's 3UPT functions. You'd need to open Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer), then navigate to the mod's folder. It's usually some place like:

C:\Users\xxxx\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS\SMANs Omnibus Mod (v 5)

Where xxxx is the account where the mod was installed.

You're looking for a file called "SMANs Omnibus Mod (v 5).modinfo"

Use Notepad or some other text editor to open this file. The line you're looking for is this one:

<UpdateDatabase>SOD This MOD/SOD_This_MOD.sql</UpdateDatabase>

Simply delete this entire line, save the file, then go back to Civ V mods area, load the EUI and this mod again, then test to see if the unit flags show up again.

And please let me know if this works. IIRC (and I usually don't) there's a way to have this mod check to see if another mod is loaded before it loads all its changes. Perhaps I could add some code that would check for EUI being loaded, and not load this function if it is.

I'd appreciate it if you can test this for more than a couple of turns in a new game and see if it works. Thanks!

Nope, that didn't fix it. I also tried deleting the UnitPanel folder from the EUI mod, and that didn't do it either.

Try to remove 'UnitFlagManager' folder in EUI mod's folder. It helped me.
I decided SMAN's FlagManager is more important, but I did not check the consequences =))

I have an issue where no unit ui will come up, not letting me do anything except moving them, so I can't settle cities or use workers. This is the ONLY mod I have installed, nothing else.

@Gmrpc¹⁴ - Do you have BNW installed? If so, then clear the game cache, restart Civ V and try the mod again. Sometimes when you switch the mix of mods you're playing, it leaves the game's databases in an unstable state. Clearing the game cache restores them to a healthy state.

If you have BNW installed, the mod played alone should work. The only thing that would prevent that is database corruption. Clearing the cache is about the only thing you can do.

Hey ;)
I have a problem with the whole unit, research and ressources logos. After starting a new game I can play without any problems for about 15 mins. Than all the logos are black. Is there an issue with ur modern ressources mod, or the irregular units?
Out of ur mods ,I just use some "map-mods" and the ingame Editor.

Thx
