Like most other mods - subscribe on Steam, then open Civ V and go to the Mods menu - wait a minute or two for the mod to fully download before you do anything else. Once it downloads it should show up in the mods menu - select the mod then play the game like any other. The units will become available during the game as you discover the prerequisite techs and build the required buildings.

Once the mod is downloaded, you can navigate to its folder and open the manual - it's a PDF file. It has a lot of information about the units, buildings, etc.

It seems, from the feedback I'm seeing, that a lot of players are using this mod in conjunction with other fantasy-themed mods for a more complete fantasy gaming experience.

I'm having trouble with downloading the mod. When i click subscribe, it doesn't download it on the mods page. I've had the same problem with a few other mods too and haven't been able to locate a solution. If anyone knows how to fix this issue I would greatly appriciate it. The mod looks like it could be a lot of fun. Thanks.

@Hand, wdurham - I' ve seen that a couple of times myself. Frustrating. It seems to help by clearing the mods cache then restarting CIV V. Maybe this will help:
