I meant the one in the other mod....wait I have an idea^^
I was getting a bug that made the combat roll modifiers show up incorrectly, the penalties for being in mountains was cut off. I was able to fix this by changing two lines in combat.gfx back to what they are in base M&T, line 33-> noOfFrames = 5 should be 6, and line 1470 -> noOfFrames = 6 should be 5. I doubt this is a problem unique to me, so if you see this too thats the fix."
could you add this provinces to the game http://(www(.mediafire(.com/folder/d7s9fv29z3tct/Provinces)
Please send me the picture through another link because Steam says its bad.
ok ....well... how to add province pictures to the game:
step 0. install gimp and notepad++,
step 0.1. install the add on for .dds files for gimp,
step 0.2. optional: install the wtv.exe dds previewer from nvidia
step 1. find (a) good wide picture(s)
step 2. stretch into 386x79 pixels with paint
step 3. transform into a .dds data file via gimp
step 3.1. add the dds files to the gfx/interface folder
step 4. open the combat.gfx in the interface folder with notepad++
step 4.1. initialize your dds files there
step 5. open the terrain.txt in the map folder with notepad++
step 5.1. initialize your terrain type there with the same name you had chosen in the combat.gfx
step 5.2. find your province ID in the game by unsing the debug_mode and observe mode
step 5.3. search the province ID in the terrain.txt and delete it where it was
step 5.4. add the province ID to your new terrain type and use the same parameters from the terrain type you've deleted it from
step 6. optional: add english (and other) locals to the localisation folder
step 7. test everything
for unsettled provinces you have to do some more steps....and you have to have another or the same picture in another resolution
what original size how do you need to convert with paint and conserve about 90ko in dds?
I used Paint with a picture of 650ko and obtained 58ko. How can i keep a good quality?
