Is there anyway to make these work with hl2

Its possible, you just need to take the audio from garrys mod and replace it in the half life 2 folder.

agreed.
install viewmodel lag or something.
what viewmodel lag does is that when you look up the viewmodel is upper, and if you look down is the opposite
and then mount hl2 or get a mod that adds the maps (illegal)

Thank you, although the other solution yohi gave me worked, this makes things a lot simpler
