Can someone make a guide about how the events work?
I've been playing about with them for ages and can't wrap my head around them.
I can't tell if they're incredibly complicated or just not implemented properly yet.

Have you taken a look at the Behaviors and Events video tutorial?

It's a bit outdated now, but the main ideas are the same.

In the next major update, there will be in-game course creator tutorials about the events system. And I will also most likely make a steam guide too, since I know the behaviors and events system is quite complicated.

If you have any specific questions I'll be happy to try and answer them!

Thank you, the video was helpful and the in-game tutorials are even more so. It only took me 244 day to reply.
I've been enjoying making my own course and the events really make it come to life!
