we need military mechanics in medieval dynasty
i just have to say the game gets pretty boring when there is no action in the game so i made up a discussion for this little thing its missing let get to the basics lets see you cant build big walls because its not developed for it and there needs to be a new building called a barracks where you can recruit militia, and footman or archers maybe even cavalry please if the devs are looking at this please update your game

No thank you. This isn't a military game. It is a peasant village building sim game. If you want more combat try out Sengoku Dynasty.

Sengoku sucks and then there is an other game that does have these elements but it also sucks, it's called Valheim.

I agree with OP, This game would be perfect for me if you could build castle walls around it, military, warlords, it would be the perfect all-round 3D game and if you don't want it they can just build a new mode. One with and one without it.

Well they devs don't want to build that game, so don't know what to tell you.
Hot tip? 5 yr old game probably not going to change its focus at this point. Read the other threads on same topic, about one or two a month. Other games will scratch that itch for you.
LOL Valheim sucks so much it has over 50 million copies sold. So, go play it. But I bet it's too hard and unrelentingly tough for you. It was for me after a few thousand hours. MD has its own niche. Let it live there peacefully. There are even new games on the horizon that go there. The perfect game does not exist.

You might want to buy another game, one which isn't about citybuilding
Bellwright is for combat
I do feel it is a bit immersion breaking when villagers don't respond to bandits. And I've thought it would be nice to equip a few NPCs from your village and have them follow you around.

I'm not confident that combat AI would be convincing, though, and that would be just as, if not more immersion breaking.

No, "we" don't
Sigh. This again. Most of us don't want more combat. There have been too many posts with people arguing about this. Many of them suggest a DLC or the ability to turn it off if we don't want it. Fortunately it appears the Devs do not want it. After five years, I suspect they are winding up updates to this game and I would be quite surprised if there was a roadmap for 2026. Perhaps next year they will facilitate mods and all the warmongers can create their own version of Medieval Dynasty.
