It should change the next season. Could you upload your savegame so the devs can have a look?

You can find your savegame in %LocalAppData%\Medieval_Dynasty\Saved\SaveGames.
To upload it, just use a site like wetransfer.com to create a link for you that you can paste here.

That site looks extremely dodgy and I will not be engaging with it.

But yeah it isn't changing. It's showing the changed number when I go back into the game settings menu, but it just isn't happening.

I use that site a lot, nothing dodgy about it. But feel free to use another one. Or you can post a bug report on the discord and upload your savegame there: https://discord.gg/medieval-dynasty-1069629094871978074

Without savegame it'll be hard to find the issue if they can't reproduce it themselves.

Just to check: After three days, when you go to sleep, you have two different choices. You can either go to sleep normally or skip the rest of the season.
You can also see the option for 3 days per season, but you can't use it there. If you increase the days for the first time and just click out of habit, I think you can make a mistake. I think I was confused when I first tried it out.

Are you sure you've selected the right variant?

I have yes, each season only has three days.

Weirdly when I change other options I can see them change in game, it just refuses to change the season length

Like mentioned; will need your savegame to try and find what's happening; as the season change is working fine when the devs are trying it out on their end.
