Remote storage access not working? (both plant a tree update and echoes of nature have been added)
While crafting, I noticed I no longer had the symbols to tell me I was in range of either food or resource storages. So I tried crafting at a kitchen right next to a food storage and I no longer have remote access. This all occurred after the plant a tree update and the echoes of nature DLC have been added. (I did try on multiple game saves including new, as well) It's definitely a bug I can live with (I loved the game before one of the updates added it!) but I do miss the convenience. If anyone knows a way to activate the feature (like there's now a switch to turn on or off that I just didn't notice) or if anyone has any ideas, please post any thoughts.

Check your settings under "customize game" - "remote storage access". Is it on?

I just found that and it was active so I'm checking to see if unchecking it would work (like somehow the settings got switched)

So I figured out how to get it working again. I did have to reinstall the game, I think something got corrupted in a save file (I'm not sure if it helped but I also deleted all my saves that had storages built) and it worked! Thanks much!

Unlikely.

Just to be sure, verify the game files to make sure the installation went well: right click Medieval Dynasty in the list of games in your Steam library, pick 'installed files' and then 'verify integrity of game files'. Afterwards restart your PC.

If still nothing, could you upload your savegame so the devs can take a look?
You can find your savegame in %LocalAppData%\Medieval_Dynasty\Saved\SaveGames.
To upload it, just use a site like wetransfer.com to create a link for you that you can paste here

Strange, saves normally don't get corrupted like that, unless you edited them or had an external program like WeMod do it.

Glad it got solved though.
Thanks, probably wasn't the file then. No mods, just a really old save file that was from around multiplayer update release. (Huge built up city that started as a multiplayer save, thought it would be fun to try out new pack on). It also had been on a different computer originally (Old computer had issues
