Did you use WeMod on your savegame? Cause WeMod causes that bug.

Which quest is this? Is this the chapter quest?

For Survivalist quest (chapter quest), you will need to do all that the quest ask: making tool, set trap and hunt a wild animal (any kind). I'm not sure if you need to survive the season (means waiting for next season to end quest).

For the night hunt quest: you will need to wait until night fall to get quest targets. You will need to kill what the quest ask you to. Mostly aggressive animal like bears, boars, and wolves. I don't remember ever getting deer as quest target. Also, I'm not sure if mix type would be accepted. For example, either all wolves, or all boars, or all bears.

You didn't answer my question. Did you use WeMod at some point on your save?

no don't use cheats believe in normal grind don't believe in cheating in any game as I love the grind

Could you upload your savegame then so the devs can have a look at what is wrong with the quest?

You can find your savegame in %LocalAppData%\Medieval_Dynasty\Saved\SaveGames.
