Manor for the mayor
A manor for us players would be nice.
Maybe it should come in different building stages together with quests and lots of different kinds of building styles.

Yes peasants are definitely known for living in manors....

It's for the player. The ruler of the town. The monach, duke, prince or whatever you wanna call it.
Even a step further doing castle building would be interesting.

The player is ranking below the castellan, aren't they? The castellan has the big house, just a little higher and decorated.
So you can build the big house for yourself, while you let the NPCs live in the two smaller versions only. For the NPCs, only the number of beds/materials+insulation/decorations is relevant, not the size of the house. Therefore, the large house exists primarily so that the player can build something special for themselves.

Tbh honest I don't care a lot about the given ranks in the game.
So do my friends.
We would like to be able to build an impressive manor or castle for ourselves, the ruler of our town.

Well then you bought the wrong game.
The game is still developing. We'll see.

This could be a good motivation for endgame content. Maybe the player has the chance to become castellan, or something "better". And as a reward for completing several quests and achieving the status of city for the player's settlement, the king gives permission to build a special estate, or a small fortress.

Exactly.

End game? After how many generation?

Would be fine for me if the developers decide for themselves at which state this could be started.

The way I see it, the castellan goes for a walk in Piastovia and collects taxes. How is this supposed to be implemented in gameplay? And what happens in the story with the castellan we've just newly selected ?

Quite simply, after you've achieved everything else in the game. Or after you had a city or x inhabitants or a certain income per season through trade and so on.

That´s a point. Then maybe another respected position, like "darling of the King" ;-)

Yes, that's the character anyway, of course. If you hang the village flag all around your house, nobody will doubt it :)
