Something that sits on a screen edge or as a quest log that displays your current total stockpile of certain items configurable in settings of the management screen.

Twice so far I have turned in a herald quest where I regret not having the useful quest log anymore. The first was early with a manure and fertilizer quest, and now much later with a big order of all three grains. And I'd love to be able to track at a glance logs, planks, stone etc.
