What exactly is missing? Is your character still there and can you move around with it?
Is your village still there?

Though it does sound like something went wrong with the installation of the update, Try to verify the game files so the installation can repair itself when needed: right click Medieval Dynasty in the list of games in your Steam library, pick 'installed files' and then 'verify integrity of game files'.

Is it fixed after that?

Thank you very much for your answer.
My village, the NPC's, the mount, is no longer there. in my village there are only a few decorations to be seen. I still have the quest progress and my inventory.
My character is still at the point where I logged out.
I was able to move and interact freely.

I had already checked the game files. No errors were found.
I also checked the SSD to be on the safe side. it's ok.
All current saves, quick save and the three autosave games do not work.

I'll probably have to come to terms with the fact that it shot the savegames for me.
An old secured save game from June 2024 still works.

If not, could you upload your most recent savegame for the devs to have a look?
You can find your savegame in %LocalAppData%\Medieval_Dynasty\Saved\SaveGames.
To upload it, just use a site like wetransfer.com to create a link for you that you can paste here.

Just to rule it out, because that's one of the wildest problems I've seen here so far: Did you edit anything on the corrupted save or use WeMod?
