Torches and Shields

Hello fellow tribesmen!!!
I am currently having a problem with my torches. I use to have a shield equipped, but recently sold the shield. Now I have my torch equipped but when I press the F button to bring my torch out to says "No Shield equipped" I cannot for the life of me figure out how to change it so my torches come up and i am currently slowly freezing to death! Please send the ravens!!

If you enable the control hints (settings - user interface) it should show you on the right of the screen how to switch between shield and torch.
Default it's holding the F button pressed longer to swap between shield and torch.

But if you do not have a shield it might actually not show the control hint anymore.

Try if holding F for a longer time lets you swap to torch. If that doesn't work, let me know, then i'll file a bug report.
