Black screen while loading
Hi there, I'm coming back to Medieval Dynasty after some time away. I've already reinstalled the game, it has firewall permissions and seems to work fine, except it refuses to show up on my screen. All I can see is a black screen. I can hear my mouse moving over the menu options but can't see anything. Initially I see one of the loading screen art for a second if that and then everything goes black.

Would really appreciate some help, I have a few friends who're waiting on me to launch our co-op playthrough!

Could you try the following:

- verify the game files to make sure nothing is corrupt: right click Medieval Dynasty in the list of games in your Steam library, pick 'installed files' and then 'verify integrity of game files' and afterwards restart your PC

- update graphics card drivers

- change to DX11 through launch parameter in Steam since you can't access the menu ingame: in your Steam library, right click on Medieval Dynasty in the list, go to "Properties" and in 'general' under the "Launch Options" window add: -dx11

- Go to device manager in Windows and check under display drivers if you have a second GPU listed there (an onboard one on your motherboard). If you do, please right click and 'disable device' and afterwards restart your pc.

- check your firewall/antivirus again so that you are not blocking anything from the game, from EOS or from Steam

Thank you SO MUCH!! The DirectX11 tip was the one that got things working. Now I can finally build the medieval settlement of my dreams with my historical reenactment friends :D
