Posted a new build!

got flowing water to whine,
keep the sound of the natural world at an arm's length,
level design tweaks,
another attempt to fix colliders sometimes failing to load

So... is that it?

Aside from the humor in the script, is all you do in this game just walk? What I mean is: you can’t die or fail — did I understand that correctly? Walking and questionable humor, with no consequences or challenge beyond that — is that really all this game has to offer? I learned how to walk without falling in 2 minutes in the demo. And I didn't find the humor funny enough....

Demo patch

Hi, we've posted an update for the demo! Here are the patch notes:
-improve impact sound sync
-tamed birds
-level design tweaks
-added discord link
-attempted to fix no colliders on switch save slot bug
-tiny camera tweaks to make it zoom in a little less aggressively
-fixed japanese text problems
-default quality to low if your computer has less than 8 gigs of vram to try to avoid crashing on launch

This is kind of a message to the devs. I was pretty hyped up for this game when it first got announced and playing the demo is fun, like this is exactly the kind of janky walking nonsense I'd want to play around with. Annoying to do, but consistent enough you can get kinda good at it and walk around normally without trouble. That being said, and I say this with love and excitement for the final game, please, please, PLEASE maybe just cut out the cutscenes entirely. Like it sounds like someone trying to...

I have got the cup and hat as well as an apple in my first hour and a half of gameplay. Without spoilers (or within spoiler tags) are there other things to pick up and find that I have missed There are also stacks of cans around in some devious places to knock over too....

Was anyone able to get the cup?

I got to a place where I could potentially climb onto the roof of the van, where I could see the cup. But Nate can't lift his legs high, so I can't step off the ledge onto the rock. I hope the developers will pay attention to this and refine the ability to raise their legs higher so that the knee is level with Nate's stomach. It's not difficult even with his build level)) But it would add physicality to the game. How did you get the cup?...

Demo limits

So I managed to get to the tower by editing a save. You can climb it, but if you go any further you just get teleported to the start of the game. :( https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3496964597
