Zealot flamer blessing discovery
Sure someone knows about it, maybe I am discovering America. The blessing is obviously not working as intended if you compare the description with effect.

So I recently discovered that Everlasting Flame blessing on the flamer is mad. You can have 10/33 magazine (or tank?) and with this blessing you just get almost full mag back on a horde/mix.

You can continuously spray the flame on a crit build with decent amount of enemies until everyone evaporates. Crits refill your mag instead of (as described on the blessing) consuming ammo from your reserve. Legit mad ♥♥♥♥. Too good. Saved me in stupid situations. It is super convenient not only because you don't need to spend time to reload but you have a borderline full mag almost all the time!

Also, separate point. Shredder Autopistol surprised me on my alt zealot. Obviously not that good vs snipers or crushers, but the mobility and disruption is super cool for a fast paced build. Really strong vs anything dreg and below scab-rager.

Maybe someone even uses it as a primary weapon. I have not seen it often nowadays. Remember there was a psyker soulblaze with pinning fire(?) auto pistol build years ago.
Shredder used to be the only gun to use until it was nerfed, but it is still quite effective on psyker and zealot for burst damage or flinch disruption on heavies.

Yeah, it's one of those mobility, burst dmg, stagger sticks. I haven't used it since the beta really.

Thx for the Info.

I'll try it out.

What are the Perks and the other Blessing you are using?

Btw. Better not report that to FS or they will "fix" it. :skynet:

No problem, hope it's useful. To me it feels OP really. Because it not only works as described, it additionally fills up the existing mag :Remnant2Fire:

Primarily I use Blaze Away as secondary, but I suppose that Penetrating Flame could be better against large crusher crowds. Need to test the difference in damage.

Perks right now are Maniacs and Unyielding +dmg.

Huh yeah, I never noticed that blessing before. Took it into the psykhanium and wowza. Basically never need to reload once I got my 25 stacks of fury going. Thanks for the tip.
I thought this blessing was general knowledge after it was added. I didn't think anyone used anything else. Then I looked at the top builds in gameslantern and almost no one had Everlasting Flame in their flamer. I couldn't believe it.

We use Blaze Away and Penetrating Flame in Havoc because ammo is scarce and Penetrating Flame is better overall against mixed hordes/armored enemies.

Everlasting Flame is fun but unfortunately the enemies in Auric and below are not strong/durable enough to make the Flamer a must-have and so Everlasting Flame is more a gimmick as too often, there will not be enough enemies alive to justify firing for so long.

Also by the time your Flamer is ready to burn heretics, your Arbites or Ogryn teammates have already crushed so many skulls or maybe would they already be melted by your team's Psyker and its cheesy Purgatus staff?

Definitely get the havoc choices.

I would say that playing with random teams and auric +high intensity of any kind does warrant the use of flamer quite often. I specifically had several situations when it was such a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that firing for so long actually saved us haha

In a capable team I would agree that Ogryn can massacre hordes fast enough alone, with somewhat help from others.

Well I personally am interested in seeing a good flamer build.

Unfortunately since the overnerf of the flamer you really have to build for it just to use it effectively.

If this is true, then you found a bug and i strongly suggest you tell Fatshark about it on their official forum. I currently cant see anything about it on their site, so it may be new.

Edit: Its certainly great you (whoever) give me an award, but i am not a cherry-picker, thats for religious people. I want the game to work properly. If you dont want this to be fixed, then Arbites keynodes shouldnt be fixed either.

Thanks for the tip. It seems to load 5 ammo per crit. I don't consider it OP in the normal game as it doesn't do anything without blazing piety active and it still eats ammo like crazy. However it's INSANE in the Mortis trials. With the death dealer path, that 5 ammo it loads is FREE plus all the other crit enhancements. With "The first 25% ammo after a reload has 30% ranged critical hit chance" buff you end up only spending about 1 ammo for every 5 sec of shooting!

I was under the impression it was the meta Flamethrower blessing everyone "must" use.

Yeah I tried it out too today, That thing works pretty well to conserve ammo.
