If theres one thing I'll compare the tide games to, it's the similarity and aspects it has as such that reminds me of the original dungeon crawling horde slaying hit known as Gauntlet or for specifics regarding me Gauntlet Legends and Gauntlet Dark Legacy. Between level traversal and enemy hordes to chew through coming across various items throughout the levels to help you, it carried a sort of weight and overall urgency to collect things (some levels could leave you worse for wear and you'd need to stock up on health or you'd die or buy extra potions to deal with the possibility of Death). With Midway Games being a company that once was, the tide games in some respect feels like an echo to that sort of thing. I do not know if it's within the realm for them to be able to pick up the torch and bring a series like Gauntlet back (namely legal stuff) but I'd daresay I'd unabashedly have some ideal expectations for such games (I frankly enjoy the idea of a first person Gauntlet dungeon crawler)
