None at all, in fact they are one of the more popular chapters in the fanbase.
But they have had NO lore for about ten real-life years at this point. If not more. We haven't seen what they have done about the great rift, the primaris thing, the 13th black crusade...nothing at all.
Its actually pretty jarring. If not for the occasional rule update, you might wonder if they have been removed from the lore altogether. There's a point where you wonder what the hell GW must have against them.
Adaptation imply transformation. It still can be an interesting show, it depends on sooo many more things than lore-accuracy.
Budget is the main issue for the 40K scale, but if they're smart about it, about the setting, it could work.
Don't be hyped, but don't trash the show when it has just been announced!
They are gonna skew the grim-dark image of 40k we love and at best they'll make a Warhammer 40k lite or they'll make it some politically correct circle jerk.
