It Takes Two is one of the most creative and challenging games I’ve played. While I usually prefer relaxing games with less frustration after work, this one pushed me out of my comfort zone with its puzzles and teamwork demands. It’s not an easy game—you’ll definitely need a skilled co-op partner to complete it.

That said, the variety of creative missions clearly shows the developers’ hard work, which explains its Game of the Year win in 2021. I enjoyed parts of it, but it’s better suited for players who like a challenge rather than casual gamers.

Recommendation: Buy it on sale and play with a capable co-op partner.
