Story:
Join main NPC protagonist to find his missing wife. Actually a decent story if you actually pay attention and not mindlessly clicking away. Side quests are also interesting, you get to play as a match maker, helping npcs resolve misunderstandings etc. Only cutscenes are voiced.

Game type/ Gameplay / Game Mode:
Zombie 3rd Person RPG Looter Shooter + Gacha in general, 32 player coop raids, CO-OP ONLY REGION (PvE / PvPvE), 4 Player wave survival, PvPvE Extraction mode, estate development.

Co-op:
Main region sand creek is solo.
Coop Unlocks at level 11 which unlocks the coop region.
From here on, you can join other players / friends to do quests or farm mats.
You can host survival mode ( lonetree tunnel) with increasing difficulty to survive 3 waves of mobs. You can call in a turret, throwables or barricades.

Gameplay loop:
Kill zombies, clear houses, quests, Timed events (more on this later).
1. log in, claim log in rewards
2. Check Highlighted NPCs for daily quests.
3. Check battlepass daily missions
4. Set NPC expeditions
5. Grab 1 companion to go kill zombies, quests and clear houses for loot
6. Join timed events raids.
7. AFK till you reach 3hr gameplay time for daily timed rewards
8. Continue quests , play with friends , log off.

Grind:
ITS A KOREAN GAME SO THE GRIND IS CRAZY. Refer to Black desert online grinding because they are the same. RNG gear enhancement, fail = drop level.
Korean RPG also means you will be looting a minuscule amount of mats every time so good luck 'rushing' to upgrade your shelter facilities.

Progression:
Leveled locations which requires both character + weapon level to deal optimum damage. Equipping higher level weapons doesn't mean you are dealing max damage from the weapon. Your character level limits the damage ceiling of the weapon.
Max level is level 40, best way to grind level is through quests(end game level 36-40 quests can give up to 50k+ exp).
Gears can be RNG enhance to +9. Korean game = fail enhance = drop enhancement level.

Estate development:
You'll unlock a Shelter as FOB which you can build and upgrade facilities (garden, Forge, Barracks, Kitches, etc). These give you passive buffs to infection rate, companion exp boost, outpost slots etc. Different regions drop different materials. Upgrades are very expensive so prepare to sink a lot of time in looting houses for minuscule amount of mats.

Timed Events:
Currently there are 2 raids available, completion rewards are based rankings (total damage dealt).
These events cycle every 2 hours so you cannot just host your own raid and farm it. So plan ahead of time to complete this 'time gated' events.

Performance / Graphics
Available on PC and Mobile so you get the idea about how the game's graphics look and run even its a UE4 game.
Don't bother playing on mobile because you need a flagship mobile to play. Lags alot on Mediatek 8350 (mid tier flagship) Probably Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and above for smooth gameplay.

Pay to Win?
Kinda??? More like QoL bonuses... Tier 2 monthly subscriptions give you more max ammo, movement speed, max stamina, reload speed, companion exp buff.
Pay for a pet dog that helps you auto loot houses up to 68 loot box / 138 boxes if monthly subscription active.

IS IT JANK?
HELL YEAH IT IS.
Goofy gun recoils, enemy hit animations, pathfinding and AI Behavior.
Your companion will stand there like an idiot tanking hits with certain weapons and they basically just die LOTS and needs u to carry defibs to revive them.

Worth playing?
Yes, If you have time to waste and don't mind the korean style of RPG gameplay. Expect to run into campers and griefers in PvP zones. Guess that covers alot of the basics... its free anyways...
