What a game!

I completed my first run in around 140 hours. Kingdom Come: Deliverance II delivers an ultra massive and immersive RPG experience. The studio clearly aimed for a lot of realism, and they pulled it off pretty well. It’s crazy how many small details are included. The quests and story are well written, and the side quests (separate from activities, since they’re two different things) are interesting to do.
The crafting system is one of the best I’ve ever seen in a video game.

Combat is hard to master, and I love that you actually have to train to improve. It really helps you get more involved in the game. Once you reach a specific area, you unlock a technique (sword only) that makes fights much easier. There are plenty of weapons available, from melee to ranged, so it suits different playstyles.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is a great game, but there are a few flaws…
One thing I didn’t like: imagine being 1 centimeter away from a helmetless bandit, crossbow fully charged, aiming at his head… and he doesn’t die just because you don’t have enough perks or points in ranged weapons.
Or another situation: you’re in full plate armor, meet a bandit... and he can one shot you, especially in the second area.
Some quests can also fail just because you’re too slow. And having to re-equip ALL your gear after certain moments is annoying.
But they are nothing compared to the overall experience.

I highly recommend Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, even at full price, which honestly isn’t that high compared to other games.

I did not expect a video game to awaken something primal in me. Yet here I am.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II does not merely immerse you. It invades you. It presses its weight upon your senses until resistance becomes pointless. The world grips you, suffocates you, then rewards your surrender with moments so intense they feel forbidden.

Every clang of steel, every whispered prayer, every muddy road sends a shiver straight through the spine. This is immersion taken to a sinful extreme: not flashy, not loud. Intimate. Slow. Relentless. The kind that makes you forget your chair, your room, your century.

Combat is foreplay and punishment at once. You are weak. You are humiliated. You learn. And when mastery finally comes, it hits with a force that leaves you breathless, hands hovering over the keyboard like you’ve just witnessed something sacred you weren’t meant to see.

I’ve played games that excited me.
This one awakens me.

It’s dirty. It’s earnest. It’s unbearably human.
I don’t feel powerful playing it, I feel alive, exposed, chosen.

This is not entertainment. This is communion.

Lord have mercy, because this game does not.
