What the hell is this error? I'm met with "The instruction at 0x0000000000868143 referenced memory at 0x0000000000000000. The memory could not be read." every time I try to launch the game from the vanilla launcher or the Mod Manager as well, same outcome regardless. Uninstalling and installing the game again won't work, validating the game's files doesn't work either, messing around with resolution doesn't help. Has anyone run into this exact issue as well?...

By far this is still the game with the most content with replay value, best story, and best ranking system thats actually difficult and requires mastering. There's a reason this was the best selling third party game on Gamecube and still has a fan following today. If its not the favorite for you, then its most likely in top 5 for sure. It really is a Masterpiece and better thwn SA1 in most ways (i miss the adventure field). This game is packed full of content too. This might be thr best Sonic game so far, Once i Finish this i will try heroes for the first time.

I'm asking this here to avoid bias by asking it on Frontiers board, plus Adventure 2 is the quintessential 3D Sonic game that virtually everyone agrees is the goat; so why do people think Sonic Frontiers is in the same tier as the Adventure games, Heroes, Unleashed, & Generations? What does that half-baked, glorified indie do better than older Sonic games?...
