How to unlock all factions?
It's been a while since I played Rome 2. Last time I played it, there were mods that allowed you to play as minor factions.
Now, it seems like the ***** ******** ***** ******* ********* ******* game devs have decided to lock all minor factions away behind a pay wall.
Is this actually true? Did they really do this?

There are definitely a fair number of factions that are locked as DLC, but you can play as all of the other factions with mods. Nordo's Faction Unlock mod, specifically, is what I use. You won't be able to play as those DLC factions, but you will be able to play as their neighbors to get mostly the same experience.

For some reason, This mod doesn't work anymore for me.
I believe it works for you but it's been so long that I no longer remember how to activate a mod.

Hit subscribe, and then when you launch the game open the mods launcher. Make sure it is higher in the load order than anything else that affects factions.

I would say Greek citys as main. Its a disgrace that players buy into this sht.
