No really, I don't get it. Yes, She's abrasive, super high-and-mighty, and apparently coded with an unusually aggressive AI, but what exactly signals her out as a hate or at least dislike magnet compared to the other factions? I have a PC keyboard (not a laptop). The manual says I can use the numeric keypad, but only the arrow keys work for me to move a unit - so I can only move in diagonal directions. Is there something I can do to get the numeric keypad to work?

I purchased the Sid Meier Alpha Centauri Planetary Pack. This is supposed to include Alien Crossfire but it boots into the original Alpha Centauri and doesn't give me any way to get to Alien Crossfire. Help!

Seriously, I have it modded on GOG, I tried to enjoy it but it's just so archaic that it's impossible. Even the map sucks. It's like playing a DOS game from the 80's. See, the thing is this game has so many incredible ideas that it just deserves to be revived and modernized. It's a no brainer really, it would sell like donuts in a Police station....
