Nice to see more of Atlus' games on newer platforms. Its the kind of remastered I wish SMT 3 had gotten. The combat doesn't get super in-depth but it was still a fun playthrough.

atlus did a much better job with this remaster than nocturne, while I don't think nocturne needed a combat overhaul like this game, it certainly needed an uncompressed soundtrack and better looking cutscenes. This time though they not only gave us the high CD quality versions of the soundtrack and (aside lighting problems) improved cutscenes, but also like I said the combat is way more interactive and dynamic. Pick it up on sale its a lot of fun, I hope atlas remasters the sequel as well as digital devil saga. pls give us a dds port/remaster atlus...

I hoped for a bit more finesse in this remastered version, but it totally sticks to the old version and that kinda misses the Mark for me. I guess i made a mistake by playing SMT Vengeance right before this one... i really wished they would have put a bit more into the personalities of the demons since they pretend to have one... or would have pushed the fighting visuals/appearances further (just a bit?)

i think it's a good game but it's not wholesome and feels kinda empty at some spots - different times thow - that's why i do not recommend
