Romans don’t attack civilians so you can launch a gather and wood collector and so forth before leaving
it used to be that the AI was non-existant. Now they are active, but are still ♥♥♥♥, so the only thing they ever do is ♥♥♥♥♥ at you and then declare war. And as you said, when you are just getting to archers/spearmen, how are you supposed to fight a 100+power legionary army.
I had hope for this game, but it continues to be a dumpster fire
Also I know, I could just move away, but on Nightmare difficulty, there's not much room for roaming around, not gathering, hoping to find some empty piece of land (kudos for the realism though).
