I read the question and provided the guide because you can't and aren't suppose to use concrete foundations when building the printer. The concrete foundations are for building a modular habitat. This is why I posted the guide because it doesn't show the concrete as being a required part for building it.

You seem to have missed that connection.

If you have uneven ground you need to extend out the printer foundation using the scroll wheel on your mouse (this will 'move' the object you are holding using 'E' further out from you) and then rise up the highlight of the foundation slighty and then click. This will place it down but higher up from the ground.
