Linux Mint 22.3 (Zara)
32 GB Dual Channel DDR5 @ 5600 Mhz (Expo Timings)
AMD Radeon 9060 XT 16GB
AMD Ryzen 9800 X3D (No overclock)
Loving the game so far, otherwise! Thank you, devs. :)
Good luck.
I'm still curious what it was and why it happened, but restarting PC was all I needed to do.
I can confirm there is no other kind of stutter in the game. If you have stutter, its not the game. Maybe you got a old 8gb gpu or something, thats on you.
I think it's a Linux/Proton thing. I've run into this with a few games recently. Sometimes using the Proton fork GE-Proton on your compatibility settings works, but it doesn't seem to be effective in this case.
I bench-marked the demo on both a linux and windows build, same machine, nvidia 3060. Still had stutters consistently every 20-30 seconds. Tried various settings, no go. Probably Denuvo stealing resources, frankly. Could also be UE5 problems.
I don't recall having this issue on my Xbox Ally X or on my gaming league PC. Try turning on FSR on the armory crate.
This is incorrect. The game has shader compilation stutters whenever a new animation happens.
There's a shader compilation step whenever you launch it, but it doesn't catch all shaders. It's not a massive deal, but you will see a tiny stutter every time a new ability or a new enemy appears on screen for the first time.
Yes, blame it on everything else except the fact that you are running with a freaking 3060... a 6 year old, low end graphics card.
Was fixed on final version or not?
