Is this game grindy?

Should one set XP, Proficiency and Gold gain to High while keeping monsters strong and characters weak?

I love the grind in DQ games to be honest lol Its all part of the fun...back in the day in DQ3 my inn where store heroes was jammed packed with level 99s...I need to give some love to the remake, seems there is a mod to increase tavern size lol

You can be the whole game in less then 10 hrs did on switch 2 it's DQ only in name super easy.

Beat the whole game on 10 hours? If you say so. What is the fun in rushing? I have played almost three hours, and I just got to the first fight. Stop and smell the roses, my friend.
