It's not a feature currently support, but has been suggested (if I understand what you mean by 'hot seat'. Basically winner stays on?)

The reason it's not implemented, is simply because we never thought of doing it! This is why we like Steam!

No, no, not at all :D
By hot seat I mean two (or more) persons playing on the same computer, taking turns!

From wiki: Hotseat or hot seat is a multiplayer mode provided by some turn-based video games, which allows two or more players to play on the same device by taking turns playing the game. The name hotseat started as a reference to playing a PC game and trading seats with the other player.

Ehm ... well what you can do is try out the versus mode (after you edited the controls) and report back if that doesn't work for you.

But in other words you mean a offline multiplayer :).

Yeah I guess offline multiplayer is another word for it, as long as you take turns on the same computer :)

But like we all know, not everyone has a controller or likes it.

So an option to have the ability to use the mouse and keyboard for the second player would be great too.

NOTE: The thing i wanted above is already ingame :P, once you are on the versus options overview,
1. click players
2. select your player
3. select the 2nd player (if you use controller make sure you pressed A to join, otherwise you go with mouse and keyboard)
4. toggle play style (player 2 or AI)
5. Enjoy your offline 2 player game :D. (i tested this and it works with the same controller and or same mouse and keyboard.

If people want to see a guide about this please let me know, i will happilly create one.
