Hey there Champions!

The servers for the Champion Shift Prologue will be shutting down for the preparation of our main game's Early Access launch next week.

Our intention for the Prologue build, was to function as a free-to-play demo that would be accessible by a larger population of gamers in Steam. We are thrilled by the amount of downloads we received and the feedback. And we thank everyone in the community that played the Prologue while it was available.

We look forward to seeing you all in our Early Access build, coming up next week the 29th of February!

The Early Access will come at a discounted price, as well as an additional discount for the first 2 weeks of release. If you haven't wishlisted the game yet, please do so! It helps us a ton!

Good morning, first of all, congratulations for the game demo. The bases are solid, rich. The maps are also varied. Unlocking the 2 heroes is not difficult, and fun. Each of the heroes has their own attack modes, with a truly particular feeling, which affects the way a build is constructed. Update 0.4.8

Greetings Champions!

New update 0.4.8 is live, here is a summary of the changes and fixes:

Improved performance across the game, as we optimized CPU requirements of enemy entities and their navigation. Texture optimizations also were done, which should improve FPS on all devices.
Fixed an issue that was causing crashes when exiting the game.
Fixed an issue that was not properly updating unlocks for players and would only reflect on game restart. Now unlocks should be available from the moment you acquire them.
Added a new stage: daylight version of the Dominion Island Port
Fixed an issue with Starfire Arrows which was causing potential errors in the simulation.
Updated 3D model and animations for enemy soldiers.
Fixed some navigation issues with enemies where they couldn’t find a proper path to the player.
Added some player navigation indicators to tutorial stage to better guide the player during the end sequence.
Added a “Return to Game” option to the “Pause” menu.
Lots of small bug fixes across the board.

Shout out to all of our testers and members of the community in Discord[discord.gg] which have continually helped us track down some of the bugs and given great feedback on gameplay.

Update 0.4.6

Greetings Champions!

New update 0.4.6 has dropped and with it some very important fixes and improvements. Here is a summary of the recent changes:

Fixed a bug that was crashing some players in the loading screen, due to the game simulation detecting an incorrect amount of CPU cores.
Fixed an issue where a crash occurred due to players falling through the world.
Fixed an issue where game entities would accumulate in memory, so this should improve performance.
Reduced GPU memory use and performed rendering optimizations, so the game runs much smoother on lower to mid end PCs.
Fixed a crash issue while exiting the game.
Added a health tracker for other players in co-op sessions.
Resolved some standing issues with the tracking of Achievements, now they should reflect properly your progress.
Improved navigation of enemies in Desert stage, so they can follow the player better.

Again, we are extremely happy and grateful for all the game feedback we have received on our Discord[discord.gg] from the community, who have helped us track down some of these issues. We love working together with all of you and look forward to improving the game experience even more!

We can’t wait to share more of the progression features and new Champions we are working on. The battle against the forces of the Dominion continues!

Demo Test - Version 0.4.4

Needs more meaningful unlocks and be less exhausting. Player projectile weapons could get better priorities. There should be a pause while picking unlocks, also it takes too long until a build materializes, about 30-45 minutes at best. Expected: Should take below 5 minutes for better onboarding, so it's pretty grave. Important staples of the genre seem ignored, so not sure where to start, maybe with the less than superb meta-progression, or the lack of of XP magnet. The idea that player has to go game-...
